Senior mechanical engineer Jobs in Carmel, IN

The duties and responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer include but are not limited to :

• Ability to design a variety of basic to complex mechanical systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform calculations required to design systems, including sizing of equipment and selecting appropriate mechanical equipment.
• Conduct field surveys to determine existing project conditions.
• Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.
• Reviews the development of designs for compliance with applicable codes, adopted engineering standards, and good engineering practices.
• Cross-discipline coordination of MEPT components within Revit and AutoCAD.
• Facilitate production of construction documents (drawing and specifications) for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing facilities.
• Communicating effectively with clients and internal team members in the design and specification development of mechanical building systems.
• Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Conduct construction site visits to ensure systems are installed per drawings and specifications
• Respond to contractor RFIs and review project shop drawings / submittals.
