Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. This role involves the design, analysis, testing, and production support of industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have + years of mechanical engineering experience and a strong background in product development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead mechanical design efforts from concept through production, ensuring technical requirements are met.
• Perform R&D to support new product initiatives and improve existing products.
• Execute engineering calculations and maintain detailed development documentation.
• Apply DFM principles, generate fabrication drawings, and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop build and assembly documentation; support technicians during builds and track as-built deviations.
• Serve as hardware technical lead on projects, managing technical direction, schedules, JIRA task tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
• Provide technical oversight of small teams of engineers on larger projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to department SOPs.
• Estimate project effort, cost, and timelines.
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Travel up to % annually to support projects.
