Job Description
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coastal Engineer to lead and manage coastal restoration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the implementation of solutions that address coastal erosion, habitat restoration, and shoreline protection.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute designs for coastal restoration projects, including erosion control, wetland rehabilitation, and flood management.
Conduct site assessments, data collection, and modeling to evaluate project feasibility.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists and project managers, to ensure project objectives are met.
Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Oversee project construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and environmental regulations.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in coastal engineering or restoration projects.
Proficiency in coastal modeling software and design tools.
Strong understanding of environmental permitting and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
