Our client a wellestablished independent insurance brokerage specializing in commercial personal and group benefits lines is looking for a driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join their team. This role focuses on developing new business in the small to midmarket segment where successful candidates will bring their existing book of business and a strong background in independent insurance production. Candidates must have prior experience in an independent agency settingno captives carriers or direct writers will be considered.

This is an ideal opportunity for a producer with an entrepreneurial spirit someone who enjoys prospecting and growing a book of business in the highly transactional small and midmarket commercial space. The role is based in Mesa AZ and the client is open to a hybrid arrangement based on performance and culture fit.

Responsibilities :

• Prospect and develop new business in the small to midmarket commercial segment.
• Manage and grow a book of business with a minimum of $350000 in revenue.
• Ensure that deals are structured and described by revenue not premium.
• Conduct transactions that generate at least $10000 in revenue per deal.
• Cultivate strong client relationships attend client meetings and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Meet or exceed revenue and retention goals by leveraging independent broker expertise.
• Foster a "hunter" mentalityactively seek new business opportunities in the commercial insurance space.
