Job Description ENGIE Insight Services, Inc. (dba ENGIE Impact)
is seeking a
User Experience (UX) Designer
in Spokane, Washington, with a telecommute option. This is a junior-level position (less than 3 years of experience), in the Digital / IT / Data sector, offering a permanent, full-time role.
Responsibilities
Support a user-centered research and design process, including user research, personas, rapid prototyping, and user testing.
Collaborate with users, product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure optimal user experience.
Communicate design decisions clearly through verbal and graphical means.
Articulate design rationale to product and engineering teams.
Create UI elements using the Design System, including specifications and component behavior descriptions.
Design user journeys such as wireframes and models in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Develop and promote UI design guidelines following best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applications, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in UX / UI design, including designing B2B SaaS products, using wireframing / prototyping tools, and design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Invision.
Experience in technical discussions with developers about JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
Ability to articulate design vision to stakeholders using analytics and user research.
Additional Details This role is based at ENGIE Impact's Spokane headquarters with remote work flexibility within the US. Domestic travel up to 5 days per year may be required. Salary range : $138,200–$146,000 annually. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses.
