Job description

Your Title : Product Manager

Location :  United States (Remote) | Preferred - Westminster, CO or Dayton, OH

Our Department : CTCT (Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies) GCP (Grade Control Platform)

What You Will Do

Discover, organize and translate market opportunities and requirements into product development artifacts to enable our product team developers to design and deliver timely solutions for our customers.

Document scope and manage customer expectations along the development lifecycle.

Guide and iterate on the product vision by leveraging your proven ability to prioritize and execute initiatives to continuously solve customer problems and deliver value to operators.

Define and validate a licensing model that enables CAT and Trimble to execute their go-to-market strategies and bring compelling offers to customers.

Derive insights from license usage and collaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, and Data Intelligence teams to understand their constraints and expectations.

Gain a deep understanding of the CTCT grade control platform, Trimble and Caterpillar platforms, and the cross-functional teams that need to collaborate to deliver differentiated market solutions.

Directly manage product leads, influence product teams, and lead projects in parallel. Navigate the organizational structure to drive initiatives forward, ensuring CTCT’s growing portfolio enables our parent companies and their channel partners to succeed.

Develop strong relationships across CTCT, CAT and Trimble.

Prioritize the enablement of new business models and commercial activities such as pricing or marketing, and monitor the resulting success and growth of the parent companies.

Communicate the product vision, updates, and strategy to large groups and stakeholders, both internally and externally.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of product management, platform development, or technical account management experience for a Cloud application or Connected Device (IoT) solution.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Conversational knowledge in Finance workflows, Revenue Recognition, and Go-To-Market strategies

Experience leading product teams to build and execute the product vision and strategy, utilizing key data and market insights.

These products are used in a range of applications to enable machine operators to perform their work safely, accurately, efficiently, sustainably, and effectively through the use of sophisticated yet intuitive user-centric technology. These solutions are brought to market with modern licensing offers to enable customers to achieve new productivity heights and extract more value out of their machines at the most compelling price point in the industry.
