We operate our world-class resource base exclusively within the State of California, applying complementary and integrated infrastructure to gather, process and market our production. Using advanced technology, CRC’s workforce focuses on safely and responsibly supplying affordable energy for California by Californians.
The CRC Accounting Department is seeking to fill a Senior Accountant position to support our North operations. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA and is eligible for a hybrid work-from-home schedule.
The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $95K - 115K, with a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing process
- Assist with JIB cost analysis, net profit interest statements, payouts, and allocations.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits including preparation of deliverables and answering questions from auditors
- Prepare monthly / quarterly financial reports and roll-forward schedules
- Conduct monthly intercompany activity review
- As needed, aid in other areas of financial and operating reporting
