PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :
The Systems Administrator role is part of a team that is responsible for the management and support of bank-wide IT infrastructure, systems, and services, ensuring these services are secure, efficient, and reliable in support of a positive user experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Support the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the MS tenant, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Purview, and other M365 services.
- Setup, configure, and maintain Windows servers and services, install new systems, and update existing ones.
- Manage software deployment, windows patching and updating, vulnerability scanning and resolution of end points and servers.
- Support information security systems including data encryption, Anti-Virus, enterprise security policies, and end point security.
- Research and recommend new approaches to improve internal IT workflows and systems administration
- Assist in supporting and managing the Bank's VoIP system
- Provide operational support for end users when needed, assist with escalated support tickets
- Work with external vendors on support items, maintenance, and upgrade / update tasks
- Documentation of changes, updates, and processes
- Must be available for occasional off hours and / or weekend work on maintenance windows and support
- Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience
- Ensure the safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to and enforcing the organization's information security policies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years general IT experience and at least 3 years' experience in a systems administrator role, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
