Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist outsourced Big 4 firm with meeting tax filing deadlines for multiple entities, including federal / state / local (and some partnership) returns for the company.
Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities.
Provide support with tax special projects.
Maintain and update status trackers for all required tax deliverables and tax returns.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Qualifications

Two to three years’ experience working in a combination of public accounting and / or private industry in a tax accounting capacity.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
