We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead our Birmingham, AL location, overseeing all aspects of our taxi business operations and driving its continued growth.

Key Responsibilities of a Vice President of Operations :

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and engagement.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of location staff and independent contractor drivers, focusing on retention and performance.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between location staff and support teams for operational efficiency.
  • Manage fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles meet service demands and operational standards.
  • Implement and oversee safety and training programs to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly engage with clients to ensure service levels exceed expectations.
  • Conduct audits of operational processes and implement improvements as needed.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to achieve financial, safety, and operational goals.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through active participation in labor and employee relations efforts.
  • Provide insights and support for contract renewals and business expansion.
  • Develop and manage the location’s annual budget to meet financial objectives.

    • Qualifications of a Vice President of Operations :

  • 5-10 years of experience in operations management, with leadership and P&L responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Commitment to team development and mentorship to drive engagement and performance.
  • A results-driven leadership approach with a focus on collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving operational and business objectives.
