Description & Requirements
The Senior Vice President of Federal Relations will be a vital strategic advisor and operational leader, tasked with sharing intelligence, insights, and coordinating influence campaigns to shape and execute the company's federal engagement strategy. This role will focus on influencing key stakeholders and decision makers regarding federal legislative, regulatory, and administrative matters affecting the company, particularly in public assistance programs, federal contracting, and performance-based policy implementation. Knowledge of both civil and defense-related federal and state government operations is essential.
This position requires an experienced government relations executive with a profound understanding of federal appropriations, agency operations, and the political dynamics that drive funding, policy, and accountability across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Federal Strategy & Engagement
Design and implement a comprehensive federal government relations strategy that aligns with corporate priorities.
Lead efforts in internal coordination on federal rule changes.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Business Development, and other departments to assess and mitigate federal policy risks.
Oversee the management and operations of the company's PAC, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations.
Counsel leadership on political risks, including potential funding disruptions and policy decisions affecting the business.
