What is The Role :

The SEO strategist will help implement our annual SEO program, with a focus and passion for growing Elastic's non-brand and brand search visibility, growing our website traffic and conversions, and driving continuous SEO improvements across Elastic.co.

Elastic is seeking a Senior SEO program manager to join our Global Content and SEO Team, specifically to support technical site content. You are a subject matter authority in search engine optimization and an excellent communicator who is excited to evangelize and drive adoption of SEO best practices. You understand the nuances of SEO content and are able to use SEO reporting tools to formulate data-driven insights and share your findings with marketing and non-marketing peers to continuously improve organic content. What You Will Be Doing :

• SEO strategy and planning

As a member of the Content & SEO Team, you will co-create an Elastic SEO center of excellence with consistent SEO principles, standard processes, and experimentation to guide continuous search visibility and web traffic growth

Guide our external agency to produce in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis, search intent / behavior research, and recommendations for new technical content (topics, formats, etc.)

In collaboration with our Technical SEO specialist, conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using our SEO tool, Botify, to identify and resolve technical issues impacting SEO such as crawl errors, improper canonicalization, page indexation issues, slow page speed, etc.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The typical starting salary range for this role is : $128,200-$202,900 USD. The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is : $153,800-$243,300 USD.
