Job Overview
The Server Assistant will work with servers to set tables, deliver requested items, remove used dishes, and practice good table maintenance. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by keeping the dining area clean and serving food in a timely and accurate manner.
You should be highly motivated, energetic and committed to a high level of guest satisfaction. You should be comfortable in a fast paced environment, professional and dependable.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware and condiments
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately
- Inform restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests (asking for the check etc)
