Job Summary
As a Server at State Fare, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. You’ll guide guests through our menu, offer expert recommendations, and deliver exceptional service with genuine warmth. One must be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and love being part of a team. A Server holds the potential of earning $32.00 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on all menu items, daily features, and any updates
• Present menus, make thoughtful suggestions, assist with drink selections, and describe preparation methods
• Maintain a polished dining experience—serving courses, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs
• Confidently open and pour wine tableside
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas
• Support team efforts during special events and high-volume shifts
• Greet every guest warmly and sincerely
• Communicate menu items, ingredients, and allergy information effectively
• Commit to the highest standards of guest service and food safety
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
