Job Summary :
Dutton Motor Company in Riverside is a fast-paced automotive dealership looking for an ambitious and customer oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor is a vital member of our team, acting as a liaison between the customer and the technician group to ensure appropriate service, customer satisfaction and profit.
Compensation & Benefits :
This position is a full time position and offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The Service Advisor also benefits from a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401K.
Responsibilities :
- Welcome service customers in a professional and engaging manner
- Listen to customers and accurately understand and diagnose their service needs
- Establish a rapport with customers by finding out their preferences
- Properly communicate service and repair recommendations to the customer
- Verify that the customer is purchasing the services or items that they want
- Establish, monitor, and recover compliance on all warranty and repairs
- Ensure that all quality and process standards are met before returning the vehicle to the customer
- Prepare customer documents and maintain all required records
- Follow up with customers on any concerns they may have after service
- Negotiate final payment with customers
- Ensure that all follow-up items are completed before returning the vehicle to the customer
- Communicate daily with the shop manager to ensure that all objectives are met
- Develop and maintain a team-based atmosphere and process improvements within the Service department
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional sales atmosphere
