The Client Service Associate is responsible for all functions required to effectively service client accounts. This includes assisting clients with a multitude of tasks and requests, processing required paperwork, and continuous collaborative work with Wealth Advisors and other colleagues.. The CSA is the primary point of contact for all clients and is therefore expected to be readily accessible to ensure all clients receive the highest quality service.

Primary Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Assist Wealth Management advisors with on-boarding of new clients : customize our standard agreement with new client information, obtain all appropriate forms from custodian and work closely with client to ensure accurate completion
  • Serve as on-going liaison between advisors and custodians, managing account openings, account mergers and maintenance paperwork
  • Assist with ACH / wire transfers on behalf of the client
  • Review and validate new and revised client agreements
  • Verify cost basis, including investigating why cost may be missing, placing restrictions, submitting cost basis enrollments, and utilizing Bloomberg when necessary
  • Ensure accuracy and processing of Required Minimum Distributions
  • Establish and maintain client data in Salesforce CRM
  • File client documents in our document retention software
  • Receptionist Desk Coverage as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0-2 years' experience in financial services preferred, but not required
  • Productive and positive attitude
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple software programs
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation
