Job description

Service Delivery Project Manager

At Sand Cherry Associates, we excel in the design and delivery of strategic customer-centric initiatives through digitally-native, data-empowered solutions. Our client's confidence in us is centered on exceptionally skilled, high-energy talent working with the support of the full Sand Cherry team. Finding the right match for this role is a critical aspect of continuing that success.

Our client is seeking a Service Delivery Project Manager to support a Commercial Engineering PMO within a large Broadband company. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from post-sale through installation, ensuring orders progress efficiently between departments throughout the organization while removing roadblocks and driving timely delivery. This is an internally focused project management role. This position serves as the central coordinator for engineering and operations, partnering closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful order fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with telecommunications service delivery, order management, or implementation experience who enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving projects to completion. This is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity requiring onsite work five (5) days per week in either Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of one of these locations and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer requirements. All work must be performed within the United States.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial broadband customer orders from post-sale through installation.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Track and manage orders proactively identifying risks, delays, and dependencies.
  • Partner with project sponsors and key stakeholders to prioritize work and resolve order-related issues.
  • Coordinate activities cross functionally with departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial Sales, and Field Operations.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to remove blockers and accelerate installations.
  • Create, track, monitor and report project timelines, order status, and operational metrics.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders remain informed of project progress and installation readiness.
  • Support continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce installation delays.
