Job descriptionAssumes responsibility for the efficient productive and professional operation of the front office. Duties include Checking in Co-Pay collection and appointment call reminders. Greets patients as they enter department for their appointments. Manages telephone and patient reception scheduling of patients collecting patient demographic and insurance information. Maintainingnon-clinical supplies and receiving / documenting patient payments. Comfortable working with 30-45 patients throughout the day. Highschool diploma or equivalent required Oneyearexperience working in a medical / business office setting with strong customer service. Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations especially Medicare & Medicaid. Experience working with medical terminology electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
