RESPONSIBILITIES :
Overseeing day-to-day interlibrary loan (ILL), periodical operations, study areas, and working with library staff and the university community to provide excellent service and carry out the university and the Linscheid Library missions. This full-time position involves responsibility for departmental scheduling, supervision of at least four student assistants, record-keeping, maintaining and updating relevant files and statistics, and interacting with library users, university offices, and the community at large.
QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A bachelor's or pursuant degree is preferred. Customer service, supervisory, relationship building, and strong technical skills are highly desired. Excellent attention to detail, experience working in an educational environment, and ability to communicate well in written and spoken English, organizational skills, and the ability to work cooperatively and independently are highly desired. Ability to complete detailed work in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy is also highly desired.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook), people skills (communicating concisely via telephone and email), attention to detail, and proofreading skills. Must be able to develop professional relationships between colleagues, students, and patrons. Being self-motivated, resourceful, and demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity is also desired.
