Job Summary

The IT SharePoint Developer Role is customer focused and facilitates converting functional business requirements into applications and solutions to drive business processes. The key responsibilities and qualifications include designing, developing, administering and maintaining SharePoint Online applications and solutions. The developer must demonstrate experience with Microsoft PowerApps, including Power Automate and be familiar with Infowise Ultimate Forms Solution. The developer will configure SharePoint systems based on requirements as defined and approved by the business and ensure that the SharePoint development is done in a way that is scalable and reliable. The position will require collaborating with stakeholders of differing skill levels to gather requirements and implement solutions. The developer must ensure compliance with security and governance policies and established guidelines. The SharePoint developer should have a strong understanding of the SharePoint Online framework, front-end development, and site customization options. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a service-minded approach with the ability to multitask, adapts to change and possess strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.

Education & Experience

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree or any other relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a SharePoint Online Environment with a strong focus on front-end development, site migration and customization
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for modern SharePoint development and proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (which includes Power Apps and Power Automate)
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST API, PowerShell
  • Knowledge of Infowise Ultimate Forms Solution is a plus
  • Experience with MS Teams integration
  • Ability to create responsive designs and UI / UX using modern web technologies
  • Experience with process flow mapping, documentation and design
  • Capable to facilitate and negotiate solutions across enterprise applications
  • Experience working with stakeholders and documenting requirements
  • Keeps abreast with emerging technologies and processes to support continuous improvement both professionally and within our digital environment

Preferred :

  • 2-5 years' experience in a healthcare environment
  • Effective in Leading and influencing stakeholders
  • One or more years' experience in an Agile environment using Jira toolset
  • Experience writing technical stories and tasks to guide development
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business users and leadership to design custom SharePoint solutions that meet the organization's ever-changing needs.
  • Creates custom SharePoint solutions to meet business needs and streamline processes, integrating solutions with other business applications to provide a seamless user experience. This may include automating business processes and workflows utilizing Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate) or other 3rd party tools. Develops test plans in conjunction with business users to ensure customizations are error-free.
  • Serve as Tier 1 technical support to the business, answering questions and troubleshooting issues.
  • Implementing security and access controls for SharePoint as well as auditing sites to ensure compliance with policies and established guidelines.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and secure.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and external vendors.
  • Updates the SharePoint site and process inventory to ensure all customizations are properly documented.
  • Balances clients' business requirements and preferred technical architecture. Recommends creative and innovative solutions to business or technical problems. Provides client support for operation systems consistent with service level agreements (SLA's). Ensures work is technically sound and in compliance with established quality and timeliness standards.
  • May lead project team assignments of moderate scope requiring expert technical skills in process flows, data mapping and systems design.
  • Ability to facilitate requirements analysis and design sessions. Works with cross functional teams to prioritize development priorities. May coach, mentor, and train other team members.
  • Key member of IT requiring expert technical skills and good understanding of business functions. Documents process flows, data mapping, and IT designs; works collaboratively with team members.
  • Familiar with minimal viable product Agile concepts.
  • Takes active steps to increase understanding of client's business environment, priorities and processes, and emerging technology issues.
  • Interfaces with customer and other departments to ensure project objectives are achieved. Interacts with vendors on routine testing matters.
  • Analyzes and identifies core business processes for application design.
  • Communicates issues openly, honestly, and timely with peers, management and customers.
  • Supports preparation and presentations of new initiatives to senior leadership to help obtain buy-in and support.
  • May work with vendors to clarify and resolve tool / software functionality issues.
  • Participates in the definition, implementation, and execution of best practices.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

    Coping / Flexibility : Resiliency in adapting to a variety of situations and individuals while maintaining a sense of purpose and mature problem-solving approach is required. Brings the group to consensus and obtains approval for the defined requirements.

    Information Management : Ability to manage large amounts of complex information easily, communicate clearly, and draw sound conclusions.

    Multi-Tasking / Time Management : Prioritize and manage actions to meet changing deadlines and requirements within a high volume, high stress environment.

    Problem Solving / Analysis : Ability to solve problems through systematic analysis of processes with sound judgment; has a realistic understanding of relevant issues.

    Technical Skills : Understanding of system / process engineering concepts; ability to fully understand business functions and needs, priorities, processes, and emerging technology issues.
