The Team Lead will perform all the functions of a DSP and assists the Residential Manager in ensuring quality of services provided, health and safety of the individuals served, and DSP training, support, and supervision. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assist with DSP training, support, and supervision. Support of program and house specific orientation functions Support of staff training Mentorship of new staff during shadowing period Ongoing coaching and role modeling for staff Support of staff meetings Help develop and manage staffing schedule in accordance with Plan of Care. Assist with management of program and individual documentation as required Completion, collection, review, submission, and/or tracking of documentation Assist with individual medication and healthcare coordination functions Assist in finances Responsible for ensuring that the individual’s home is safe, clean and in good repair. Monitor proper diet, meal planning and shopping Ensure that monthly safety drills are conducted Assisting in crisis situations Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
