Shipping Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Associate, where you will be responsible for the physical handling and management of various materials in a warehouse setting. This role requires physical endurance and the ability to operate various equipment for efficient order processing.

Responsibilities :

• Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-50 lbs consistently.
• Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
• Utilize computers for data entry and tracking of inventory.
• Operate step ladders and read location labels accurately.
• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, and other materials.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely to transport materials.
• Use proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners to track and locate orders.

Work Environment :

Work in a clean, organized warehouse with five different levels. Enjoy a quiet atmosphere where you can listen to music. The schedule runs from Monday to Saturday, with lower expectations on Saturday. Employees receive two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
