POSITION SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE:

Employees who ship and label merchandise before sending out of Super Color Digital are responsible for the final product review before those materials are sent out to the client and out of Super Color Digital’s possession. Creating safety and security for shipped materials ensure client satisfaction. Efficiency and speed get packages to the client before the end of the scheduled arrival time.

This position is from 7:00am to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday with Occasional Saturdays and potentially 2nd shift hours

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Verify that Shipping is consistent with instructions on Work Order

· Prepare merchandise for FedEx, UPS and other courier service pick-ups

· Maintain protocols for secured shipping environments

· Check that packaging is appropriate for delivery conditions

· Maintain organized and clean working environment

· Complete stage management process on computer software

· Ensure that merchandise is placed in staging areas in secure and proper manner

· Check that merchandise is ready to be sent out of Super Color Digital

· Check that all information regarding Work Order/packaging is correct before accepting job, perform Shipping duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/labeling before giving the job to the proper courier service

· Keep loading dock door always secure

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURSOF WORK:

· Full time / 40 hours weekly

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· High school diploma or equivalent experience required

· 2+ years’ experience working in shipping with fast-paced production

· Must have warehouse and distribution experience

Safety Requirements:

· OSHA forklift certified

· Ability to stand throughout shift and lift 50 lbs., without straining
