Shipping And Receiving Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team in South San Francisco. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished products in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately document and label incoming and outgoing materials.
• Utilize the ERP system effectively.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
• Collaborate with production and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve discrepancies with vendors or carriers.

Work Environment :

You will work in a print shop, utilizing various technologies and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. The role requires a flexible approach as you may occasionally support the production team.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
