Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a  Shipping Clerk . This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

What You Will Do :

  • Complete all ship / confirm transactions into SAP in a timely manner.
  • Respond to carrier requests (via phone or electronically) for shipment tracking and / or tracing and communicate any delays to order originators.
  • Enter CHEP Pallets Transfer via CHEP Website
  • Communicate with carriers, coordinating loads for internal / external customers
  • PGI completed ship orders, printing BOL’s, invoices, and other shipping documents as necessary.
  • Enter all receiving transactions into SAP in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in SAP.
  • Maintain files for shipping and receiving daily.
  • Prepare necessary backorder and / or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, .
  • Pull, Audit, and / or receive orders as necessary as directed by Shift Leaders.
  • Position Details :

  • Plant location : Winston-Salem US66, North Carolina
  • Work week and shift : 3rd Shift 10 : 00 . - 6 : 30 . OT as needed
  • Compensation package offered : $22.50
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two or more years' experience in shipping, receiving, and / or inventory control desired
  • Previous forklift operating experience or willing to train
  • SAP experience desired but not necessary if requisite system experience is present
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
  • Physical Demands :

  • Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong keyboarding / computer experience
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Ability to multi-task and direct drivers
  • SAP experience
