Description
About the Team The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for providing shop floor and administrative support to the Logistics Department.
What you can look forward to as a Supply Chain Coordinator :
- Responsible for the general oversight of all logistics equipment and hardware.
- Participate in general projects as they relate / interface with other areas of the supply chain (i.e. customs, planning, etc.).
- Work cross functionally with all plant functions.
- Work with purchasing to procure plant equipment, hardware, etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
- Provide general support across all or most functional areas of the logistics department.
- Assist work teams in establishing lean manufacturing, 5S, and employee satisfaction as benchmarks for ZF North America.
- Verify quality of work and documents adherence to standardized work.
