We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team!

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods and materials into and out of an organization. This role ensures that shipments are accurately processed, prepared, and documented, while maintaining reliable records of incoming and outgoing items. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk supports operational efficiency by verifying, handling, and coordinating the transportation of merchandise and materials.

· Verify and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Receive, unpack, inspect, and record incoming merchandise or materials.

· Prepare outgoing shipments by assembling, addressing, labeling, and packaging items according to organizational procedures.

· Arrange transportation and coordinate delivery schedules with carriers and vendors.

· Ensure merchandise and materials are handled safely and stored properly in designated areas.

· Track and report shipment status, discrepancies, or damaged items to supervisors.

· Maintain accurate logs and documentation for inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.

· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely distribution of received items.

· Assist with inventory control and stock organization as needed.

· Follow established safety procedures and organizational policies during all shipping and receiving operations.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or logistics coursework is a plus.

· 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

· Basic knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging standards, and recordkeeping.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to lift and move materials as required.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office or basic inventory/shipping software.
