Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Site Civil team based in Chicago, Detroit, St Louis, Columbus, or Dallas with consideration for hybrid work arrangements. The professional will focus on Site Civil / Land Development projects supporting the Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices nationally. Project types and clients will vary with opportunities to be involved in projects across the United States.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Prepares engineering analysis, design, and calculations for all aspects of site civil work including but not limited to site access, grading, drainage, utility networks, and erosion control independently or with plan production support.
• Coordinates with clients, government agencies, and other project design leaders across multiple time zones.
• Generates detailed reports to demonstrate compliance with local design guidelines.
• Employs a variety of modeling softwares for drainage and water / sewer system design.
• Active in all aspects of construction document preparation and independently making design decisions.
• Maintains involvement with projects during construction as needed to respond to RFIs or make design revisions to accommodate unforeseens identified during construction.
• Prepares scope and fee estimates on portions of projects or change orders or assists with project procurement on occasion.

What Your Experience Looks Like

The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
