Description Westward360 is looking to add an On-Site Maintenance Technician to handle a variety of repairs and upkeep at a property in the Chicago area. What we offer : Compensation range of $20-$30 per hour depending on experience Monthly cell phone stipend 40 hour work week Overtime as needed Medical / Dental / Vision insurance Front loaded PTO 401k - Company match up to 4% Long and short term disability at no cost to employee What youll do : Prioritize and address work orders according to their urgency. Ensure each work order is logged, tracked, and completed within the predefined time frame using Property Meld. Basic repair and installation tasks. Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, Plumbing systems, Electrical systems, Roof and Pest Control. Doors & Windows : installation and repairs. Carpentry : crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, trim. Electrical : fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, service upgrades, breaker panel replacement, and troubleshooting. Plumbing : faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks, troubleshooting. Lighting and Lighting Systems : installation and troubleshooting. Drywall : repair and installation. Painting / Staining : interior and exterior. What youll need : 3-5 years of handyman experience Personal smartphone with ability to take quality photos relating to work Comfortable with using technology Prior rental property experience is a plus Your own basic tools Ability to lift tools and building materials weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75-100 lbs Reliable transportation with valid drivers license Excellent communication skills and a general understanding of property management Fluent English About Westward360 : Westward360 is dedicated to providing exceptional community management, rental management, and brokerage services.
