This is a part-time position at 5 hours per week on Sundays. This position may also need to work special events as needed.Position OverviewThe Part-Time Kids Ministry Sunday Assistant supports our Childrens Ministry team during Sunday services. This role helps create a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for kids while assisting with teaching, classroom setup, and ministry strategy.This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a direct impact on kids spiritual growth and create an environment where they can learn, have fun, and feel loved. Your contributions help the Kids Ministry run smoothly and ensure each childs experience is meaningful and engaging.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp organize and set up classrooms for Sunday services.Assist in planning and strategizing for Kids Church programs.Serve as a small group leader, guiding and engaging children during activities.Support teachers and volunteers as needed during Sunday services.Maintain a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for all children.QualificationsA genuine love for children and passion for teaching the Word of God.Ability to engage, lead, and encourage kids in a group setting.Strong organizational skills and willingness to help behind the scenes.Team player who can follow direction and assist wherever needed.Previous experience in childrens ministry or teaching is a plus but not required.
