About The Position

Medix is partnering with a facility to staff a skilled Sleep Technologist for a contract opportunity in High Point, North Carolina. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential sleep study services to adult patients in a dedicated facility.

Overview of Responsibilities

As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive sleep studies. The facility offers a secure environment, and the role does not require scoring.

Facility Type : Sleep Lab / Facility

Start Date : 12 / 1 / 2025

Length of Assignment : 13 weeks

Schedule : Three consecutive night shifts (7 PM - 6 AM), clinician chooses days between Wednesday and Saturday

State License Needed : North Carolina (NC)

Pay : Compensation packages, including competitive rates and potential stipends, will be thoroughly discussed with your recruiter.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct sleep studies for two adult patients per night, maintaining a 1 : 2 patient-to-clinician ratio.

Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during the shift.

Operate and manage sleep study equipment, including experience with Alice 5 machines (ideally).

Follow all facility security protocols, which include the use of cameras and parking lot patrols.

Document all necessary information accurately.

Work Environment

This is a night shift position with three consecutive 11-hour shifts (7 PM to 6 AM).

The clinician will be the only individual in the building with patients, supported by robust security measures.

Job Requirements

• RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) Certification is required.

Active NC State License is required.

Experience operating sleep study equipment; experience with Alice 5 machines is preferred.
