Overview
Sleep Technician - Lombard - Sleep Lab
Position Highlights :
- Full-Time - 40 hours per week
- Hours : Overnights; Sunday-Saturday : 7 : 30pm-6 : 00am
4 x 10 hour shifts

Under the direction of the Site Physician(s) and Practice Manager, serves as a primary assistant to physicians and nurses. Practices high quality medical care in performing a variety of patient care activities such as preparation for appointments, minor exams and procedures, laboratory and maintenance controls, patient documentation, and various office duties.
Responsibilities
A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Sleep Center Supervisor and clinical direction of the pulmonary physicians who are diplomats of the ABSM. The technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic, therapeutic services, and education. Responsible for the coordination and delivery of professional and courteous patient care. Has the ability to complete administrative tasks as well as technical duties. Will know established policies and procedures and be willing and able to assist in development and / or modification.
Qualifications
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $22.00-33.35, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
