Job Summary : Under the direction of the Site Supervisor and / or Department Director, the Patient Representative performs a variety of secretarial, billing and clerical duties. Responsibilities include : utilizing the electronic medical record (EMR) to schedule initial evaluations and follow up appointments and process patient charges; coordinating referrals; preparing the proper paperwork and collecting pertinent patient information; answering phones; performing other related duties as assigned. The Patient Representative provides support to the clinical staff to provide optimum service to patients.
