The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Paid Media Assistant to support our paid media efforts and drive customer engagement across digital platforms. As a Paid Media Assistant, you will provide vital support to our Paid Media department by assisting in various tasks related to media planning, buying, and monitoring. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our media campaigns run smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and passionate about digital marketing. Assist in creating and maintaining media plans for various marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and target audience. Collaborate with media buyers to negotiate, book, and schedule media placements across various platforms, including print, television, radio, and digital. Monitor media campaigns and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reports to the media team. Conduct market research to identify target audience demographics, media consumption patterns, and advertising strategies. Assist in tracking budgets and invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment to media vendors. Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to develop and implement cohesive advertising campaigns. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging media platforms, and advertising techniques to stay ahead of the competition. Assist in maintaining media databases and files, ensuring all media materials are organized and easily accessible. Provide administrative support to the media department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements. Competencies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tasks. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with media buying software and tools, such as Nielsen, Google AdWords, and social media ad platforms. Knowledge of media planning and buying processes, including audience targeting, media selection, and campaign optimization. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and reports to make informed decisions. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop effective advertising strategies. Familiarity with advertising regulations and compliance standards is helpful. Required Education and Experience Interest in paid media, media buying, and related areas of marketing. Basic understanding of paid media platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other digital ad platforms. Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Previous experience in media planning, buying, or related roles is preferred but not mandatory. Work Environment and Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position during regular business hours in the employee’s time zone. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position does not require travel.
