Are You the Missing Piece?
This fast-rising media company is redefining the intersection of audio / video storytelling, advocacy, and audience growth. Some of their podcasts have accrued TWO BILLION downloads (yes, you read that right). And they’re some of the most popular podcasts in the world.
With such breakneck growth, no one is wholly focused on social media and short-form video growth, namely on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram Reels. And that’s where you come in : They’re on the hunt for a Director of Social and Video Growth to lead the charge and transform their following, attracting, engaging, and converting new audiences across the globe.
This isn’t about chasing trends just for clout. It’s about smart strategy and authentic storytelling—elevating social beyond the scroll. You’ll drive the creative process from ideation to execution, manage a small but mighty content team, and turn long-form audio into eye-catching, can’t-help-but-share content across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and more.
With a loyal listener base, a powerful mission, and a portfolio of top-charting podcasts, this team is ready to invest in someone who can build a short-form video and social strategy that sparks discovery, grows community, and moves the needle on KPIs in real-time. Sound too good to be true? It isn’t, so keep reading!
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- You’ve got 6+ years of experience leading social and short-form video strategy, with a portfolio that proves you know how to drive real business results, not just likes. You can turn audio content into compelling video content, headlines, and conversions.
- You’re both creative and analytical —just as excited about cracking the creative as you are about diving into performance dashboards and pivoting accordingly.
- You’ve built and managed teams of 3-5+ people, know how to work cross-functionally, and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- You’ve grown major brand or creator accounts across multiple platforms —and your FYP reflects your superpower for spotting trends early and adapting content accordingly.
- You’ve worked with (or have ideas for) audio / podcast storytelling in a visual-first world. Bonus if you’ve repped content on camera, experimented with UGC, or layered advocacy into your storytelling.
- You’re passionate about mission-driven work and believe media can do more than entertain—it can inform, connect, and change lives.
- Major plus if you’re a true crime junkie and / or have worked in this genre before
You should take this meeting because …
… you want to lead social and video for one of the most compelling and up-and-coming media brands out there, and you’re ready to level up. You’ll join a passionate, collaborative team that values mental health, leadership development, and bold, creative moves. There’s room to grow, freedom to experiment, and a mission that actually matters. Need we say more? Get in touch with us today!
