Social Media Stategist / Digital Stategist Job Duties : Take the brand strategy and translate it into a social media strategy

Identify key objectives of the social media strategy

Create a content calendar each month that executes on the social media strategy

Identify key metrics to measure the success of social media objectives

Recommend what content should be organic and what content should be paid / boosted

Use social listening to make sure the brands are engaged in relevant conversations on respective social channels

Create a community playbook to set guidelines for how to respond to consumers who DM or tag the brand.

Liaise with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing

Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social 'buzz' regarding new product launches

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on social media metrics

Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
