Accountable for setting the service standards governing all service related activities across the business. Establishes metrics and measures to continually assess the effectiveness of the servicing of the fleet company-wide. Oversees research and development activities related to the fleet including prioritizing initiatives, developing products, designing solutions, working cross functional on implementation. Oversees the special projects related to the servicing of the fleet including resourcing projects and monitoring progress. Manages staff, providing leadership for hiring, training, development, coaching, performance management, and all other people management practices. Works through a matrix organization to implement service initiatives and changes into the company. Participates in the annual budget process. Oversees and / or performs policy, process, and procedure audits at branches. Utilizes multiple communications channels to operators across the company to provide open and transparent communications on all topics related to the operations of the business. Works effectively with other departments including Safety, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and others to align priorities, projects, change initiatives, and communications.
