The Borgen Project is a renowned global organization dedicated to improving living conditions for individuals affected by war, famine, and poverty. Over the past 20 years, we have played a crucial role in advocating for legislative efforts that have positively impacted nearly 500 million people in developing nations.
Internship Overview: This is a part-time, unpaid internship requiring a commitment of 12 hours per week over a 12-week period and is fully remote. If you're busy, you can fast-track the program by completing tasks ahead of schedule.
In this role as a Social Media and Digital Marketing Intern, you will significantly contribute to raising awareness about our mission while engaging in a variety of meaningful activities, including:
- Creating and executing an innovative branding campaign.
- Conducting informal focus groups to gather valuable feedback for market research.
- Pitching captivating story ideas to a diverse array of media outlets, including print, broadcast, and digital.
- Designing and implementing effective fundraising initiatives.
- Planning, marketing, and leading engaging informational meetings.
- Utilizing social media to develop impactful web-based messaging strategies.
- Supporting The Borgen Project's advocacy initiatives.
