JOB SUMMARY

The School of Social Work at CSUSB invites applications for at least one, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions beginning in August 2026. We seek faculty who are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, and who can contribute to our mission of preparing social workers to promote equity, inclusion, and social justice. Successful candidates will be able to teach across the social work curriculum at both the BASW and MSW levels and will be assigned to one of the following locations :

• San Bernardino Campus
• Palm Desert Campus

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The School of Social Work offers CSWE-accredited BASW and MSW degrees at both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses, as well as a distance education MSW program, serving students across the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley. We seek applicants eager to serve our diverse students, who are often the first in their families to attend college, with innovative and effective teaching, and to engage in research that advances the profession.
