Position : School Social Worker (Counseling-Focused)
Commitment : 2 to 2.5 hours per week (virtual)
Rate : Up to $80 per hour
Focused Staffing Group is seeking a qualified School Social Worker to provide specialized support to two visually impaired students, both boys aged 19, through virtual consultations.
This position requires a commitment of 2 to 2.5 hours per week and is ideal for professionals with a passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their personal and academic goals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the students' well-being and educational experiences.
Major Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual individual consultations to assess the psychological and social needs of the students.
- Develop individualized strategies and interventions tailored to the unique challenges faced by visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with families and educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Guide on coping strategies, social skills, and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications with families.
