Job descriptionTeach full-time in Canon Law, including course preparation, instruction, and assessment. Provide academic advising and support to students. Conduct ongoing canonical research to inform teaching and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Supervise and oversee student research projects. Participate in academic committees and administrative functions. Engage actively in the Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary community and mission. Support the Rector with canonical matters and related administrative tasks. Assistant Professor – Demonstrates effectiveness in teaching, consistent scholarly engagement, and appropriate participation in ecclesial service. Associate Professor – Exhibits excellence in teaching, significant scholarly achievement, and active involvement in ecclesial service beyond the assistant level. Full Professor – Maintains a distinguished record of scholarship and publication, serves as a master teacher and mentor, and provides exceptional leadership in ecclesial service. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church and eager to carry out the mission of the Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary. Align with the values and mission of the Catholic Church in an Apostolic Age.
