Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Social Worker performs all functions with respect for the patient's specific age and needs. The Social Worker performs a complete psychosocial assessment of the patient and makes recommendations to the health care team.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Experience in health care or psychiatric setting preferred.

2. Bilingual preferred (Spanish).

3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

2. Licensed in the State of Texas (LBSW; LBSW-ACP)
