Job Description : Building and maintaining vision language model (VLM) based backend search service that utilizes vector databases. Building and maintaining data pipelines for search services using Python, PyTorch, REST, and gRPC. Building our search frontend using Typescript, React, gRPC and Kubernetes. Software development in Python, Pytorch, Rest, Kubernetes, Airflow, and Flyte. Building robust geospatial querying infrastructure using OpenstreetMap, Mapbox, and Postgres. Building data infrastructure using Trino, DBT, SQLMesh, and Apache Iceberg. Developing cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AKeyless, and internal tooling. Productionalize our VLM data pipelines by building robust, fault tolerant and safe AI solutions. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of HQ and appear in office as required. Domestic travel required, 25%.

Requirements : Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in Computer science, specifically in Artificial Intelligence for autonomous vehicles or related role or in the job offered.

Skills : Experience and / or education must include :

1. Utilizing PyTorch, JAX, VLM models, OpenStreetMap, PostGis to process multimodal sensor data into vector databases and perform geospatial search queries.

2. Developing backend services for data searches using Python,Postgres, GoLang, Elastic Search and Kubernetes.

3. Developing web frontends for data searches using React ,Typescript and Mapbox

4. Experience with performance tuning databases for search queries using Postgres and ElasticSearch.

5. Developing frontends of search engines that rely on federated queries using React Query Builder, React, and other related frontend technologies.

6. Building data infrastructure layers to support search data using Postgres and ElasticSearch.

7. Building core infrastructure for data search services using Terraform, 1 password, ArgoCD and internal tooling.

Salary : $140,754 - $198,000 / year; 40 hours / week

Location : 1001 Technology Drive, Mount Pleasant, PA 15666. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of HQ and appear in office as required.
