Summary

Our client, a multidisciplinary design-build firm with a focus on delivering innovative building solutions for commercial, industrial, and recreational projects, is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their growing team. Known for their integrated approach, the firm blends engineering and architectural expertise to create attractive, efficient, and functional buildings across the East Coast and Midwest.

This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated architectural professional to take on a key design role, working on a diverse range of projects from concept through detailed documentation. You'll be part of a collaborative environment that engages regularly with internal departments and external consultants to develop code-compliant, buildable, and aesthetically driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the Director of Architecture and Project Directors on active concept and design initiatives

Lead and contribute to the creation of architectural documentation from schematic design through construction detailing

Develop code analyses and ensure designs meet all applicable codes and regulatory standards

Mentor and guide less experienced design staff, fostering team growth and collaboration

Propose creative, buildable solutions to design and construction challenges

Coordinate effectively with external MEP / FP consultants and structural engineers

Participate in internal design reviews, and contribute to the refinement of architectural standards and Revit templates

Ensure quality control of all architectural drawings and adherence to office documentation procedures

Support submittal responses, RFI processing, and shop drawing review

Participate in construction site visits and assist in documenting field conditions

Assist with marketing efforts including concept design, visuals, and renderings for proposals

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent experience with 8+ years in commercial / industrial design)

Strong understanding of building codes, systems, and construction methods

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Experience with commercial or industrial project types is required

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Experience working cross-functionally with sales, estimating, and construction teams is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range : $100,000 – $120,000 / year (commensurate with experience)
