Job description

Description

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager who understands how payment systems work. Payments processing is crucial to our business. You'll find ways to make things better, measure how much of a difference those changes will make, and then put them into action. These projects will be big and involve lots of people, both inside and outside the company. You'll also need to make sure everything follows the rules and manage risks, while thinking about how to grow and improve our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Create the plan : Develop and put into action a clear plan for our payment processing tools, making sure it fits with our company's goals and what the market needs.
  • Understand the market : Look at payment trends, new opportunities, and what our competitors are doing. Use this information to make smart decisions about our products and decide which features to build first.
  • Work with teams : Collaborate closely with engineers, operations, sales, and marketing to figure out what our products need and prioritize features based on what customers want, what the market demands, and how it will help our business.
  • Manage the roadmap : Be in charge of the development plan for our payment processing products. Clearly communicate priorities, timelines, and important milestones to everyone in the company.
  • Handle risks : Oversee efforts to manage risks related to payment approvals and security. Make sure our products follow all necessary rules and security standards.
  • Track success : Set goals, watch how our products are doing, and look at user data to keep making our payment processing tools better and better.
  • Build relationships : Connect with people inside and outside the company, including customers, partners, and vendors. Gather their feedback, test out ideas, and make sure everyone is on the same page about product plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive product management experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to payment gateways within a FinTech or payments company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end product lifecycle of payment processors, including direct experience in building, launching, and scaling payment processing platforms or core modules from inception.
  • Deep technical understanding of payment processing flows, including authorization, capture, settlement, reconciliation, fraud prevention, tokenization, and recurring payments. Experience with card payment methods is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for complex technical products in the payments space, translating market needs and technical capabilities into compelling product solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, effectively collaborating with engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to drive product development and adoption.
  • Strong analytical mindset, leveraging data-driven insights to inform product decisions, identify opportunities, and optimize performance. Experience with A / B testing, user behavior analytics, and advanced product analysis tools is a must.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, present complex technical concepts clearly, and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A relentless drive for innovation, coupled with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and a passion for disrupting the status quo in the payments industry.
