About the Role : We're looking for a dynamic leader to guide and inspire a talented team of software engineers, developers, and internsincluding global partners and consultants. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, project leaders, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software components and solutions that make a real difference. This role reports to the Director of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities :
- Partnering with and leading large offshore resources to solving complex business needs, serving as the technical contact
- Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback
- Writing advanced complex code for computer systems, acting as a senior source of expertise, performing reviews, and leading development
- Acting as an acknowledged go-to person on coding and technical issues
- Recommending technical strategy and direction across functional area, participating in the development and evolution of architecture
- Working directly with customers and end-users, and providing design input across a product
- Perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed.
- Complete management responsibilities to include performance management, hiring and coaching of staff, and resource planning.
- Serve as a senior source of expertise for software development best practices.
- Manage system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure accurate and quality business solutions.
- Lead the development of technical standards and perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed.
- Provide design input across a product.
- Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
- Seek diverse ideas and perspectives from a variety of sources to create better solutions, products, and services.
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Ensure all staff is provided with training and resources needed to perform their jobs to the most outstanding degree
- Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.
- Empower the staff to be accountable and responsible for their own actions and decisions.
Requirements :
U.S. National Base Pay Range : $116,000 - $215,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
