Work from home! We will teach you everything you need to know in this role.
Are you looking for a high tech challenge but also to have some fun and work with cool, genuine and super smart people? Headquartered in beautiful Bend, Oregon, RecruitingDash is the largest provider of services and proprietary software for Oracle Taleo Business Edition (TBE) - a recruiting system that thousands of companies worldwide use.
In addition to our very successful market leading Taleo Consulting practice, RecruitingDash sells our proprietary Taleo metrics, reporting and analytics dashboard software as a service (SaaS) technology, and our Taleo Inbox product, to customers worldwide.
We are launching our third software product in 2023 which will also take our product and services to new platforms beyond the Taleo recruiting system market - it's an exciting time for us!
This is where you come in :
We are looking for a smart, hard-working, well-spoken individual with great presentation skills that we can train in every aspect of product management. We have had a great track record of success teaching smart and hard working people to be successful at our company. A recent college graduate seeking to learn all aspects of software product management may be an ideal fit.
As the RecruitingDash Product Manager, you will work closely with our CTO, founder, and head of software development to manage RecruitingDash's existing software products (ReportingDash and Taleo Inbox) as well as participate in every aspect of the design, development, testing and go to market of new software products which are currently in the earliest stages of product development.
Almost all of the skills for this position you will learn on the job by working closely with the founders of RecruitingDash. The incumbent who served in this role for over 9 years was able to learn the necessary skills to be successful through time in this position, and was instrumental in launching our two existing, very successful, SaaS software products. Therefore, we know that this role is a perfect fit for someone who wants to learn new skills, understand on a deep level how software works and is designed, developed, tested and brought to market, and someone who thrives on solving tough problems, being intellectually challenged and working hard.
Oversee and Manage NEW Software Product Development in Collaboration with the RecruitingDash Chief Technology Officer
The RecruitingDash Product Manager is responsible for the success of our software products - this is both a strategic and tactical role. If you have an interest in learning every aspect of software product management, from defining specifications to development through testing and launch, this is the role for you.
Drive the product and business-planning process through the software product development lifecycle
Use an iterative process and customer discovery best practices to analyze customer needs and translate them into prioritized product features and benefits
Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
Develop, implement, and maintain production, testing, and go-to-market timelines across multiple disciplines such as software development, customer discovery, beta testing, product testing, marketing, product release / go-to-market activities and customer support
Develop the new customer onboarding and implementation protocols, process, tools and procedures
Develop product positioning and messaging to be used comprehensively for the new product, such as on mico-websites, in sales and marketing collateral, and other marketing channels.
Execute post launch marketing activities to support sales efforts
Manage bug escalations, customer feedback, and feature requests as required
Partner with the RecruitingDash sale team to support their efforts in selling the product(s)
Develop and drive the documentation process for any new product(s)
Design, develop and implement customer support operations as the customer base for the new product(s) grows
Oversee and Manage the Portfolio of EXISTING RecruitingDash Software Products
Become an expert in both ReportingDash and Taleo Inbox products so that you :
Have a broad overview of how each of the products work technically
May effectively onboard and implement the SaaS products for new customers and provide basic sales support to the RecruitingDash sales executives who continue to sell the products
Assist with overseeing comprehensive customer support for the existing portfolio of SaaS software products
Provide day to day product management for exception handling and escalations, with our CTO and Co-founder as the escalation point
RecruitingDash continues to do development for these products so there is a small amount of time focused on the following :
Managing, exploring and validating existing customer feature requests
Writing up JIRA issues, which is our bug and issues management system, for bug fixes and new releases / feature ideas
Doing regression testing for new releases / features
Provide "State of the Union" overviews of each of the existing products, periodically and as needed to the RecruitingDash founders
What We're Looking For...

- Problem solver.
- A self-motivated results-driven go-getter that works hard.
- Demonstrated success at a top college with an undergraduate degree.
- Highly effective communication skills are required to interface with high-level client executives and the RecruitingDash founders.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Previous knowledge of recruitment & HR or software development is a bonus, but not required.
- Flexibility - we go the extra mile for our customers, who are located all over the world (at times this may not be a 9 to 5 job).
