Overview
As a Geologist / Scientist - Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll be a key part of project teams working to navigate today's complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our waste, commercial, institutional, and energy clients achieve and maintain compliance with those regulations. You'll supervise junior scientists and lead / manage project work that will include landfill environmental compliance monitoring programs, due diligence projects, Brownfield investigations and remediation, stormwater permitting, sampling, and inspection, SPCC Plan development and implementation, and air permit compliance. Working with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review and permitting process.
Qualifications
Here's What You'll Need :
Highly motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionally;
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or Engineering;
- 3+years of experience participating in site assessments associated with due diligence for real estate transactions
- 3+years of experience with environmental compliance monitoring programs (field sampling, data management, and reporting); and
- Strong oral and written communication skills, experience writing technical reports.
- Ability to contribute to sales / business development .
