About the Role
The DC Solar Installer is responsible for assembling installing and wiring the direct current components of commercial rooftop solar PV systems. This role supports field construction teams to ensure safe high-quality and code-compliant installations that meet project timelines.
What Youll Do
- Install route and secure DC wiring for solar PV systems (modules combiner boxes fuses disconnects etc.)
- Mount and connect PV modules racking grounding systems and DC equipment
- Pull and terminate conductor cables per project electrical plans
- Assist with testing commissioning and troubleshooting DC circuits
- Follow all safety protocols including LOTO fall protection and electrical safety procedures
- Read and interpret plans one-line diagrams and installation standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Collaborate with site supervisors electricians and construction crews to ensure smooth workflow.
