Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy industry. Proven experience in managing utility-scale renewable power generation projects. Strong knowledge of contract management and budget management. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Our client is a mid sized renewable energy operator and cleantech innovator. They are looking to secure a project manager to work with utility scale solar projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all project aspects of utility-scale solar power generation projects, from planning and development through to execution and completion.
- Manage scope, scheduling, and budget ensuring all deliverables are met within the agreed upon parameters.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring all project tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, manage contracts, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Regularly report on project status to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the renewable energy industry, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in project execution.
