Job description8+ years of experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions. Proven expertise in architecting scalable and secure enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred). Deep understanding of IaaS / PaaS architectures , 12-factor app principles, and cloud-native design patterns Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker Kubernetes , and Cloud Foundry Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in DevOps toolchains Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and integration techniques. Experience in the financial services industry or other regulated environments is a strong plus. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis skills.

Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Azure Solution Architect to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting and designing compute-intensive, scalable, and secure solutions on Microsoft Azure . You will play a critical role in driving cloud adoption, solution strategy, and architecture across enterprise applications, particularly within the financial services domain
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Azure-based solutions for large-scale, production-grade enterprise applications.
- Define architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native applications using Azure services including VMs, Web Apps, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, Azure Batch , etc.
- Develop infrastructure as code using orchestration tools like Azure Resource Manager and Terraform
- Architect solutions that integrate hybrid cloud models where applicable.
- Drive adoption of Agile and DevOps best practices for incremental and continuous delivery.
- Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TFS
- Create reusable templates for application and infrastructure deployments on Azure.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Engage in performance tuning, cost optimization , and security design for cloud-hosted services.
- Mentor technical teams and provide thought leadership on best practices in Azure architecture.
